SEWELL PARK GOES TO ST CLEMENTS PARK
Year 10 Applied Arts Students from Sewell Park College are getting involved with City Council plans to transform St Clements Park in Norwich into an Eco Park. The Students have been challenged to come up with ideas to "Make the entrance to the park more exciting and inviting".
The students have spent time working alongside Tricia from Fruitful Arts & Installation artist Kate Hodges at the park experimenting with rapid, temporary installations to explore the possibilities. Students have been encouraged to be as imaginative and adventurous as possible whllst bearing in mind the eco theme and visitors enjoyment of the new park. The group are currently translating their wonderful ideas into sculptural maquettes that will be presented to Norwich City Council for their consideration.
