ELECTRIC POTENTIAL

A giant art workshop to celebrate The Big Draw 2006.

October 2006

It happened in the huge former Electrical Warehouse on Duke St in Norwich (courtesy of Targetfollow) on 31st October 2006.

200 Norwich school children & students visited this gigantic space and helped to fill it with drawings made directly onto the walls and floor using only electrical tape!

In a kind of giant, spontaneous surge of collective creativity, students and staff from Mile Cross, Angel Rd and Catton Grove middle schools and Blyth Jex, Sprowston & Hellesdon high schools worked alongside Fruitful Arts to transform this amazing space into a spectacular one!

Fruitful Arts initiated Electric Potential as a profile-raising event for Sure Futures. The workshop was a great chance to find out more about all of the other fantastic ‘Sure Futures’ arts activities that are happening FREE for young people in Catton, Milecross & Fiddlewood. www.surefutures.co.uk
