February was Make Chatter Matter Month!
I CAN is the charity that helps children communicate www.ican.org.uk

These grand scale holiday workshops provided a couple of hours of fabulous fun for the children from CNS feeder schools. They took part in two extraordinary construction workshops at The ARC, the exciting new auditorium Building at CNS.

In the morning year 1, 2 and 3 children thought up clever new ways to communicate with their friends and invented their own Imaginary Chatting Machines.

In the afternoon children in Years 4, 5 and 6 created an Articulated Chatting Machine with re-used ICT equipment and other crazy components. Both workshops were followed by a ten minute "private view" for parents/ carers.
