London based artist collective The People Speak were commissioned by The Garage and NSAD to carry out huge public consultation exercise culminating in ‘who wants to be? http://whowantstobe.co.uk A game show style voting on ideas for Chapelfield Gardens with virtual visualisation.

The People Speak is a set of ideas, technologies and strategies developed for bringing people together to have conversations and discussions in an open-ended and fun way. They design events, architectures, systems and processes in which people are encouraged to express themselves, share ideas, flirt, and be as creative as they can. http://theps.net/

A key aim of the project was to set up a ‘pyramid of mentoring’ and Fruitful Arts coordinated education workshops and events with students from Earlham high School, City College and Norwich School of Art & Design.
